About Me

My photo
Suzanne Logue
Over 12 years in the US(1989-2001) I exhibited in juried regional shows including Washington Square(NY), Rittenhouse Square (PA), Atlantic City,(NJ), the Philadelphia Sketch Club and the Hub Gallery, Pennsylvania. My work is held in private collections throughout USA. Subjects ranged from whimsical line drawings, figurative and conceptual themes to abstraction executed in a variety of media. Major awards included a "hat trick" Whimsy Award Salamagundie Club,(NY) and the Atlantic City Purchase Award 2000. My current work in seascape genre depicts local dunes in Two Rocks (WA). I record them in large works, 36"x48"or 30"x40". My fascination with changing light at various times of day and the patterns created by shadows in early morning and at dusk can be seen in these works where I have developed a unique style and colour palette. I continue to work in a variety of mediums and subject matter. In Western Australia, I have exhibited widely in regional shows, gaining recognition including City of Wanneroo Residents Award and "Peoples Choice" Melville, Joondalup Wanneroo and Perth Royal Show. My work is held in several City collections.
