Here it is almost New Year and its so damned HOT!!!! Hope 2012 is a healthier year for me and all my friends.

This picture is of stromatelites up at Cervantes..a few miles north of here. They are ancient formations that only exist there and at Hamlyn Pool to the farther north.

Well! Yesterday we were supposed to get a storm but it bypassed us and went south! There is supposed to be a cyclone nearby,but I think it fizzled out a bit too. After we ran around bringing in all the outside furniture and laying all the potted plants down in case they blew away!Still very hot and sticky and not conducive to painting in acrylics. Australia Day (26th) was good. We have a free Aussie breakfast put on by the local Recreation Association and they announce awards too. I was nominated as Citizen Of the Year...didnt win tho! Coming up... Clean Up Australia Day. I organise a clean up site locally.
